Kitchen Remodeling Project in Basking Ridge, NJ

This kitchen remodeling project in Basking Ridge, New Jersey updated an older kitchen with a cleaner, brighter, and more custom look. We replaced the dated cabinetry with white shaker cabinets, extended storage to the ceiling, added a fresh subway tile backsplash, and kept the dark countertops for a timeless contrast. The finished kitchen feels more refined, functional, and visually balanced. A large island became the centerpiece of the kitchen, creating generous space for seating, prep, serving, and gathering. Oversized windows and glass doors bring in natural light, helping the entire room feel open, calm, and connected to the outdoors. The layout was designed to feel clean and balanced while also supporting the way the homeowners cook, move, and live every day. Details throughout the space add depth without making the kitchen feel busy. The dark framed glass cabinet creates a strong focal point, the custom hood keeps the range wall visually clean, and the mix of finishes adds character while staying timeless. This remodel turned the kitchen into a welcoming centerpiece of the home with better flow, better storage, and a far more elevated overall look.
