Covered Bridge Cabinetry Kitchen with Cambria Quartz in Somerset, NJ

This Somerset, New Jersey kitchen already had a layout that worked, with the refrigerator, cooktop, wall ovens and island sink all in sensible places. So the remodel kept the floor plan and replaced the cabinets and surfaces. Before, the room had cherry raised-panel cabinets, speckled granite counters, a diagonal tile backsplash and a microwave over the cooktop. The new cabinetry is Covered Bridge Cabinetry in the Farmington door style, finished in Oyster stain with a Cappuccino highlight. The countertops are Cambria Brittanicca Gold Warm quartz, and the same quartz runs up the wall behind the cooktop as a full-height backsplash. A stainless hood took the microwave’s place, and glass-front upper cabinets break up the long run of wall cabinets. The island kept its sink and got a fluted panel base and a new quartz top with an overhang for stools. The tall pantry cabinets by the living room doorway were rebuilt in the same finish, so the whole room now reads as one design.
